The 2022-2023 Choral Season starts August 30th! St. Cecilia's Chorus is our Adult Choir and is open to adults (and families!) and is recruiting singers in all sections to support the prayer life of the OLL community. We sing a wide range of repertoire, from Gregorian Chant, Romantic and Classical music, as well as newer compositions. We have a strong focus on singing the Mass, not just singing at Mass. We serve the 9AM and 11:30AM Masses in rotation. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings in the church sanctuary from 7-8:30PM. Options for childcare may be available. Lyric Youth and Children's Choir is an all-girls choir open to singers 3rd grade through High School. Our 2022-2023 season includes a planned trip to DC to sing at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, as well as a spring recording project in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Lyric sings for Sunday morning Masses in rotation and according to the singer's availability and schedule. Singers have two options for rehearsals: Tuesday 6PM-7PM or Thursday, 3PM-4PM. Any boys interested in singing should contact the Music Director about the possibility of starting an OLL Boys-Only Glee Club. Preparatory Choir is a beginning choir for K-2nd Graders. Our season will start in September.

CLOW (Children's Liturgy of the Word) - Catechists and Shepherds
CLOW is an age-appropriate Liturgy of the Word offered for children ages 4 through 1st grade during the 9 AM Mass. Volunteers are needed to teach the lessons each week as well as to assist with the supervision of the children (preferably 2 volunteers per week). This is a great opportunity to help these eager little ones learn the Word of the Lord. Join us, if you would like to volunteer as a catechist or shepherd.
Catechists are teachers of the Catholic faith. If your gift is teaching and have a love of teaching children from pre K to 5th grade and are available on Sunday's in between the 9AM and 11:30AM Masses, we would love to have you join the group of Catechists currently teaching our littlest sheep.
Our Lady of Lourdes' adoration chapel is in need of adorers. An adorer is a person that commits to an hour to sit and pray with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament for 1 hour. 1 hour every week, 1 hour once a month, 1 hour twice a month, 1 hour during Lent only, 1 hour during Advent only, group/ministry can share an hour too. A time well spent with our Lord. You can fill out the form or use the link. The link below will show you availabilities and needed hours. That is the best method!

A mentor couple meets with one of Our Lady of Lourdes' engaged couples preparing for marriage. There is a 3 meeting minimum with each engaged couple to review the results of their inventory. Workbooks and materials are provided. The goal of the meetings is for the engaged couple to find positive ways to work through different areas in their marriage: family origins, communication, conflict resolution, Catholic identity, finances, intimacy, parenting, and vocation/career. Flow-up with your couple after they are married is expected.
Wedding days are big events for Our Lady of Lourdes' couples. The wedding coordinator ministry takes care of all the details of the wedding day and ensures that the couple's wedding day is an event to remember. Rehearsals are held on Friday's 4:00 and 5:00 and Weddings are held on Saturday's 11AM and 1:00PM.
Sacristans prepare the Church space for Mass. Any day or mass time that you come you can sign up to come a little early, open the doors, light the candles, and prepare the altar and gifts for mass. You also will help with blowing out the candles and locking up after mass.
