Pro-life activities include a Pro-Life Rosary each Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Adoration chapel, on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. in the Holy Family Adoration chapel, and before the 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday in the church, as well as participation in deanery-wide and national pro-life activities.
Every third Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Adoration Chapel, we join together in a “Holy Hour for Life, Marriage, and Religious Liberty.” This hour is dedicated to the renewal of our country: for a culture of life (protecting the unborn), traditional marriage, and religious liberty. We pray the Rosary, then have 30 minutes for silent reflection. All are invited.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has called upon all parishes to “vigorously” advance the pro-life position. John Paul II stated that the condition for survival of America depends on our treatment of the unborn. Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name, welcomes me and whoever welcomes me also welcomes the one who sent me.” Luke 9:48. Please consider welcoming the unborn child in your hearts by joining the Pro-Life ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes.
