Adult Faith Formation (AFF)
The mission of Adult Faith Formation is to deepen our awareness and relationship with God through ongoing educational programs focusing on conversion, community and service to others. Programs offered in Catholicism, Scripture, liturgical celebrations, sacraments, the Church and current issues are offered throughout the year on Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.

A DVD series and discussion of the history of our faith beginning with the story of the early church, the Middle Ages, the Reformation and Counter-Reformation, Enlightenment and Revolution
Cursillo
The purpose of Cursillois to make Christian community possible in neighborhoods, parishes, work situations and other places where people live the greater part of their lives. A men's and women's four-day weekend is offered with presentations about the sacraments and our Catholic faith. The weekend, which is usually held twice a year, includes fellowship, prayer, and liturgies.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Our Lady of Lourdes community welcomes adults interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church. Individuals learn about Christ and the Church through prayer, discussion and discernment in preparation for reception of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist). Through a series of weekly meetings, inquirers learn about the Catholic faith and forming a deeper relationship with God. Parish team members assist with the faith journey.
Weekly sessions meet on Tuesday evenings in the Fallon Center lounge.
Living with Loss
At one time or another, loss touches every life. Yet even in our suffering we know there may be a way through the darkness to the light. For those suffering from the death of a loved one, this monthly, informal gathering is for all who are on the journey of living with and through loss.
Gatherings are on the 4th Sunday of each month

Confirmation Preparation for Adults
If you are over the age of 18 and have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation, contact the Office of Faith Formation, 919.861.4614. Classes are offered to adults to complete their reception of the sacraments of initiation.
