Adorers Needed Prayers Suggestions

January 2011

Adoration Chapel New Inclement Weather Policy. During the remaining winter months, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed in the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle door will remain open for Adoration. In the event of severe weather, if there is no adorer to relieve you at the end of your hour, the Tabernacle door should be closed until the next adorer arrives. Please err on the side of caution, and do not take unnecessary risk to travel to the chapel.

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is continuous prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. It is an expression of our love for Jesus. The Host, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus is placed in a Monstrance and honored with the worship of adoration.

Adorers make a commitment to spend an hour before the exposed consecrated Eucharist. Adoration is continuous seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day except for a brief period at the end of lent, termed, Triduum, when the Eucharist is reposed.

The Adoration Chapel is open to everyone, and all are welcome to visit and pray—anytime and for as long as you want. Know that you will never be alone as there will always be scheduled adorers present 'round the clock!

Our Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is so blessed to be surrounded by a beautiful Grotto of the Blessed Mother and our Church. It is also unique in that our deceased, beloved friends and family members are interred in our Columbarium which is located next to the Grotto. This area is truly Holy Grounds!
